Torrance Kendo Practice Restart: 2/1 (Tues)

All,

 

Just a reminder that we will return to the dojo on Feb 1 (Tues).

Please keep in mind the following requirements to return:

 

  • Everyone must continue to wear a mask at all times (including periods of heavy exertion)
  • Members that are not fully vaccinated must be tested weekly and submit negative results (taken within 72hrs)
  • Everyone must continue to self-screen for symptoms and stay home if they exhibit any symptoms.
  • Do not attend practice for 10days if you have been in close contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID (or submit negative results)
  • Report to sensei’s within 24hrs (or ASAP) if tested positive for COVID (so other members can take proper quarantine measures).

The US Championships Tournament will be held at University of Michigan-Dearborn Fieldhouse/Ice Arena.

We are sending Phase 1 forms for the US Championships early so we can accommodate for our busy schedules. Please have your federation coach or manager fill the form and return it to me at yuji.onitsuka@auskf.org no later than Jan 15, 2020.

AUSKF All Japan Champion Seminar

Rentaro Kunitomo Sensei( FUKUOKA Police Department)  who is a champion of All Japan Kendo Championship in 2019 will be visiting LA and hold a Kendo seminar.  

You will learn the top level of KENDO as well as teaching techniques to raise strong kenshi at your dojo.
Date : Sunday, July 23nd (9:00-16:00) 
Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm *Registration 8:00 - 8:45
Location : Cerritos( Don Knabe) community regional park gym         
                   19700 Bloomfield Ave, Cerritos, CA 90703 
 (*** If location is changed, you will be received the information before the seminar)
Participation fee ：$40(Cash or Check only) Pay on the seminar day at the registration table
Eligibility: Kyu and Dan , kenshi who wear the kendo-Gu.
